Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor. Her birth date was June 13th in 1962. After her 1983 debut film Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat pack group with actors. She starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) and WarGames. Sheedy received the Independent Spirit Award in 1998 for the best female character. This was due to her performance in the role of Lisa Cholodenko in High Art. Ally Sheedy has been an American author and actress for more than 20 years. Her film career began in her early 80s when she was featured in the crime drama film, Bad Boys. Rick Rosenthal's film also starred Sean Penn, Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. After her debut film, she appeared in 1985's comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes directed one of the most memorable films made for high school students. The film cost just $1,000,000, but the film made over $50 million. Between then the actress began appearing on various TV shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first TV appearance. In April of 1980, the show was first aired. The show was designed for young people. Other shows on TV she was in included Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Recent appearances by Sheedy includes Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie about a hero where Sheedy appears as a guest. Sheedy is the recipient of numerous awards for her exceptional performances, among them her MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
