Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 of 1970) is an American actress best famous for her portrayal of the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama as well as The Resident's medical thriller The Resident. Her breakthrough role as Eleni andros Cooper in the CBS soap series Guiding Light was also praised. A few of her most memorable films include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. According according to reports, she's working on a project with Vlas Charley Parlapanides and Vlas who wrote Immortals on an adaptation from Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography The Wheel of Life. She is also a producer for a new television show known as Gods & Heroes.
